Bundesliga: Wolfsburg End Leverkusen Unbeaten Run; Frankfurt Hold Freiburg In Six-Goal Thriller

Bayern Leverkusen 12-game unbeaten run across all competitions came to an end following Tuesday night humiliating 4-1 home defeat against Wolfsburg.

Marin Pongracic scored twice for the visitors with Renato Steffen and Max Arnold netting the other goal.

Julian Baumgartlinger scored the home team only goal of the game.

At the Commerzbank- Arena, Timothy Chandler came off the bench to rescue a point for Eintracht Frankfurt who fought back from 3-1 down to draw 3-3 with Freiburg.

Vinczeno Grifo put Freiburg ahead in the 28th minute, curling home a brilliant shot into the far corner.

Frankfurt equalised seven minutes later with Andre Silva nodding home from close range.

Substitute Nils Petersen headed the visitors in front for the second time in the 67th minute, while Lucas Holer doubled the advantage two minutes later.

Frankfurt rallied back late on with Daichi Kamada setting up a grand stand finish when he reduced the deficit 11 minutes from time.

Chandler then made sure the hosts earned a share of the spoils he netted the equalising goal in the 82nd minute.
