I dont see any “tough draw” here. The group stage of CAF club competitions are for teams that are “worthy of the spot”. The fact that we haven’t been featuring consistently and victoriously at that level is only a reflection of the low quality of our representatives and of our league both in terms of administration and in terms of personnel. And that is why it remains illogical when people who cannot justify themselves against players from other leagues in Africa want to be foisted on our national team, at a time we have an avalanche of players tearing European leagues apart still waiting in the wings for their own turns.

Watching Enyimba vs Rivers Utd over both legs, I couldn’t help but shudder in disappointment that these 2 are supposed to be the best of the Nigerian domestic league with mostly 30-40 plus year olds (real ages) playing football with 100% muscles and 0% brains/intelligence…. and they want NFF to spend extra money on transport, travel allowances, accommodation and Security for Rohr to go around league venues to watch crap football on weekly basis…..LMAO…..when young Nigerians who need to be scouted are lighting up top leagues in Europe with top level performances….LMAO.

This is the group stage, where MEN compete after mediocres have been weeded out. After the group stages comes the Qfinals at the latter stages, where REAL MEN who are worthy of call ups to their National teams compete. Enyimba should show how good they (technical crew and players) are by topping this group…worst still….coming 2nd to at least qualify for the Qfinals. They should show they can compete with their peers in Africa 1st b4 thinking they can compete against those from much higher levels in Europe. Oboabona captained Sunshine Stars to back to back semifinals of CAF competitions b4 getting called up to the SE, and its not a coincidence he was the ONLY homebased player that lasted in the SE. This is the time those who think Iwuala, Oladapo and whoever is worthy of a place in the national team will be justified. Entente Setif, Ahli Benghazi, Orlando Pirates…..I dont see any tough draw here. 2003/2004 Enyimba will top this group without loosing 1 match….teams from libya, algeria or SA where never a problem to them.

@Dr.Drey, You, Oakfield and your troops ran away for few days because of Oga Rohr comments.

I would like to welcome you back on one connection young man. Behave yourself.

      Stop misleading people here.

By doing this, you and the rest of us will achieve our goals by having a solid team and a sound technical crew that can use the team we have to achieve what Nigeria have never attained in the history of Nigerian and African football.

That is my advice to you my pikin. Am I communicating? Good. I won’t say more than that. Remain blessed Dr.Drey. God bless Nigeria!!!

Hohahahaha….my brother, We didnt run away….we only gave room for you and your fellow hoodlums to rant over nothings as you always do…..always creating a storm in a tea cup….LMAO. So you want me to come here and start engaging in baseless arguments because someone says the truth you dont wanna hear…?…that we cant say boldly and glaringly that our defenders are doing as well as our Strikers….?…. that we have avalanche of strikers to choose from, most of whom are lighting up Europe and by so doing firing their clubs to possible top positions while most of our defenders are struggling with relegation dogfights or in 2nd divisions…Let only Balgon get injured and see if we wont be in crisis….LMAO….our last match vs S/L is a typical visualization of what I am saying

O boy…See we are not nosiemakers like you and your crew…we dont talk because we must say something, we talk because we have something to say…..the 2 are as different as heaven and hell. There was absolutely nothing to say concerning whatever Rohr has said. None of you here played the game to the level he played, neither did you coach to the level he coached, so you cant dictate to him what to say the way you always want to dictate to him who to select. If you want to keep ranting over inconsequential things….you always have the floor…..afterall CSN is a free for all unregulated space where even an ‘Eranko’ can come and throw tantrums.

We only gave room for you and your fellow hoodlums to rant over nothings as you always do. You guys have nothing to hang the coach with anymore so you always look for something to hang him with. Even that fake ex-footballer is hanging Rohr for ALWAYS CALLING UP THE BEST PLAYERS TO REPRESENT NIGERIA…LMAO….can anyone imagine that…..LMAO….enemies of progress dem…LMAO…..they want to take us back to the days when we couldnt qualify for ordinary AFCON 3 out of 4 times and days of 16th in africa / 70th in the world becuase we were decieving ourselves that some teams are there to be overrun with mediocre players. Some people think this is still the early 90s when most african countries dont have professional players….LMAO. One was even say our homebased will beat Benin…..I just laughed and moved on to the next comment….LMAO. The same homebased that had their asses whipped twice in a row by togo and cape verde homebased should go and face Benin with all their Europe based and France-born players….LMAO. Ive always advised many of you to quit smoking whatever you smoke before coming to vomit on this platform. That african adage says the drunk fool learns not from his misdemeanor. When Germany calls up Werner et al to face Lithuania or Spain calls up Morata et al to face Belarus or England calls up Kane et al to face Macedonia, they will applaud their coaches as world class…..LMAO, but when Rohr calls up all his best players for matches they will call their fathers’ mate all sorts of unprintable names…..LMAO

I am sure by the time we once again qualify for yet another tournament with games to spare, you and your co-accusers of the brethren will query Rohr for always qualifying for tournaments too quickly…LMAO…..remember you Omo9ja called for Rohr to be sacked after he secured the 1 point we needed to qualify for our 1st AFCON in 7 years in Johannesburg vs South Africa with a game to spare, DESPITE losing our 1st match in the qualifiers. So we are not oblivious of the antics of the devil as the bible warned us. We will rather have a coward PHE teacher who has been making steady progress as coach than have African Guadiolas who will be drilling for oil on the FIFA rankings. Rant till 2022 when Rohr’s contract expires because he will not fail to meet the targets given to him by the NFF unlike some people.

@ Drey or whatever you call ursef, you are not a good football pundit..you don’t know anything about the league, specialist in wrong stat, know your type.

      • Dr. Drey 3 years ago

Thank you very much. I dont know anything about the league. I dont know anything about the league I’ve followed religiously and (even at some point personally scouted) since we launched “Premier league” football in 2003 under Chief Obaseki. You that knows everything about the league tell us what you know that we dont. You that has right stats give us your own stats and let us see them LMAO….Impostors everywhere. They think they can fool everyone with their own foolery….LMAO
