Nigerian clubs always falling to their North African oppositions!

  • Not surprised, watched both games live, all 90mins of 1st leg
and about 35 mins of 2nd half of the return leg. I also mentioned last week that remo stars are wasteful in the 18 yard box and need to fix this to progress. From the little i saw today, nothing changed and in a competition like this you need to make good use of your chances especially against north african teams. Remo stars team was simply not coordinated in the ASFAR box and they got punished.
Good, Kwara united, plateau united and rivers united all qualified to the next round and they will all be facing north african teams. Hope they will learn from remo stars mistake.

Tougher teams await all the three clubs that made it through to the next round. Anyways, this is football where anything can happen.

Meanwhile, should Nigeria recall this Manchester city product who has started all the nine games played so far this season, scored Five goals, and recorded three assists?

A certain @imnas was here praising Remo for drawing asfar in the first leg now the person has gone mute when the likes of @ugo iwunze was stating facts he chose to blindly argue oya come and talk now, there’s no doubt our league is brimming with raw potential and talent but our clueless administrators have literally killed our league by shipping our best talents to mushroom clubs in Europe and other continents for self enrichment while they can’t make our league presentable and competitive after some veiled-eyed fans will say we lack self-appreciation and refuse to see the good in our stuff,if you can’t improve your stuff how can you make it presentable for the world to see. We have to be realistic with our expectations for our teams.
