Simon, Chukwueze Subbed Off In Nantes, Villarreal’s Home Draws

Samuel Chukwueze and Moses Simon were taken off for Villarreal and Nantes respectively as both clubs settled for home draws.

While Chukwueze’s Villarreal were held to 1-1 draw by visiting Sevilla, Simon Nantes played goalless against Lens.

Chukwueze was replaced by Yeremi Pino in the 59th minute and on his part Simon was taken off with three minutes left.

The game was Chukwueze’s sixth in LaLiga this season. So far he is yet to score this campaign after netting three last term.

For Simon he has made six appearances in the French topflight and has found the back of the net three times.

In the league standings Nantes occupy 15th on seven points, one point above the relegation zone.

Villarreal are sixth on 11 points just five adrift if leaders Barcelona.
