It is now time to make it mandatory for any player that want to play in npfl to present a certificate showing he had passed through an academy or football training institute in Nigeria or Africa to get a placement in a club featuring in the league to stop this embarrassing situation.
This one way style of play shud stop. Football involves the use of the brain and not only physical strength.

Tanzanian clubs have recently been consistent on the continent, reaching at least the group stages of CAF club competitions fairly regularly. This year, there might be 2 Tanzanian clubs in the semi finals of both elite African club competitions. A Tanzanian club even made the list of clubs to participate in the inaugural African Super League competition too, another elite competition which no Nigerian club qualified for after not being able to meet the criteria set for the last half decade.

The Nigerian league managed to feature 1 of 4 representing clubs in the group stage in almost half a decade and they went boasting about it like they’ve won the trophy already.

What a way to end it all….!

The LMC, home-based nonsense advocates and “many talents in our league” loudmouths should go and learn a thing or two from those running the domestic league in Tanzania.
