Super Eagles forward, Isaac Success was on target as Udinese defeated Cremonese 3-0 in Sunday’s Serie A game.
The Nigerian international who was making his 30th appearance, has netted one goal and bagged six assists in the league.
The host wasted no time to announce their readiness to pick the maximum points as Lazar Samardzi netted in the second minute to unsettle Cremonese.
Udinese extended their lead in the 27th minute through Nehuen Perez’s low drive finish. Before Success made it 3-0 in the 36th minute.
He was however substituted in the 42nd minute for Beto.
His Nigerian compatriot, Cyril Dessers was in action but could not save his Cremonese from defeat.
The victory means Udinese sit 9th on 42 points while Cremonese sit 19th on 19 points in the league.

Strange to see accomplished players like Kane, Lloris, Perisic, Son, etc on the wrong end of a 6-1 hammering. 20 yr old Sarr the holding midfielder for Tottenham was subbed of after the 5th goal. A player getting subbed so early in a game. Humiliating experience for the young man.
Lloris himself was removed in the 2nd half. He will one day tell the story of the strange day he shipped 5 goals in 20 mins.
Lovely goal by Success. First goal in over a year. Usually plays well and gets assists, in spite of the lack of goals.
Goal of the day for me is the SCORPION KICK by Fornals in the Westham vs Bournemouth game. You don’t see goals like that everyday.
If Kingsley Ehizibue is still in the frame for the Super Eagles, that’s a player worth taking a good look at.
His wikipedia says “he represents Nigeria internationally”. Has been doing really well of late, and was outstanding today.
We must never praise mediocrity. Success is spent. There is nothing special about Ehizibue. There are enough talents in the Super Eagles already.
