Frank Onyeka is set to undergo a late fitness test ahead of Coventry City’s Carabao Cup third-round clash against Aston Villa.
Onyeka was forced off with an injury during Coventry’s 5-0 home defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday.
The defensive midfielder was replaced by Ghana international Caleb Yirenkyi with 18 minutes remaining.

Onyeka’s international teammate, Taiwo Awoniyi, will miss the encounter through suspension after being sent off in the 53rd minute against Brighton.
Coventry will also be without Josh Eccles, Kaine Kesler-Hayden, Luke Woolfenden and Haji Wright for the cup tie.
Lampard’s side have endured a difficult start to the campaign, recording just one victory in five games across all competitions.
