Cardiff City are reportedly deliberating a summer offer for Rotherham United midfielder Will Vaulks.
The Bluebirds’ Premier League relegation was confirmed last weekend after a 3-2 home defeat to Crystal Palace and the club are now preparing for life in the Championship once again.
With Neil Warnock set to stay on as manager, having received backing from owner Vincent Tan and a number of first-team players, transfer targets are being drawn up ahead of the summer.
Iceland international Aron Gunnarson is leaving the club this summer to join Qatari side Al-Arabi while loanee Harry Arter is heading back to Bournemouth, meaning the Welsh outfit will need to replace him ahead of the next campaign.

It is being claimed Cardiff are showing an interest Rotherham’s Vaulks, who has been a consistent performer since joining the Millers from Falkirk in 2016.
The 25-year-old is about to enter the final year of his contract and with Rotherham being relegated to League One he may be tempted to keep plying his trade in the Championship if offered the chance.
