Victor Camarasa has found himself out of the Cardiff first team over recent weeks and that could put his long-term future in doubt. The Spanish midfielder joined the Bluebirds on a season-long loan deal from Real Betis last summer and he has impressed during his time at the Cardiff City Stadium, scoring three goals in 23 Premier League appearances to date.
However, the rigours of the English game have seemingly caught up with the 24-year-old over recent weeks.
Camarasa has not started a match since last month’s 3-0 defeat at Newcastle – sitting out the games against Arsenal and Bournemouth altogether before being used as a substitute against Southampton last time out.

Cardiff have impressed in Camarasa’s absence, registering back-to-back wins over Bournemouth and Southampton to move out of the relegation zone, so the former Levante ace may have to bide his time before he makes his return to the starting line-up.
Bluebirds boss Neil Warnock faces a difficult balancing act as Camarasa is only on loan at the club and a lack of playing time between now and the end of the season could undermine Cardiff’s chances of signing him on a permanent basis.
