Cech Urges Arsenal To Stick With Arteta

Chelsea technical director Petr Cech says Mikel Arteta deserves more time at Arsenal despite calls for his dismissal.

The Gunners have endured a tough campaign so far and currently occupy 15th position on the table.

Cech hinted that Arteta needs more time and hopes the players will step up their game too.

He has called on the Gunners hierarchy to stick with the Spaniard.

He said: “At the moment when you hit the wall this is the moment you need everybody to pull in the same direction and help you out.

“This is the hardest part in football because it’s easy to suddenly say this is not working & do something else but you cant do that all the time.”
