Super Eagles defender, Semi Ajayi was in action as West Brom pipped Norwich 1-0 in Tuesday’s Championship game.

The Nigeria international, who was making his 16th appearance, has scored two goals and bagged one assist this ongoing season.

Ajayi came on as a substitute for Kyle Bartley in the 61st minute and had a major impact in the game.

However, it was Thomas-Asante who grabbed the all-important goal in the 50th minute to cement West Brom’s position of fifth in the table.

But Norwich were forced to play almost an hour with 10 men after the Spanish winger was dismissed for two bookable offences, the second one dissent.

The win means West Brom sit 5th on 39 points while Norwich sit 12th on 34 points on the league table.
