Millwall manager Alex Neil has confirmed that Femi Azeez will miss Saturday’s home clash against Norwich City due to injury.
Azeez started the Lions’ 2-0 victory over Bristol City last weekend but was forced off before half-time after picking up a knock.
Neil revealed after the game that the Nigeria international had experienced discomfort in his hamstring.
The Millwall boss has now confirmed that the winger has not recovered in time for the meeting with Norwich City and will therefore sit out the encounter.

“We’ve had a good result with a good performance and we obviously want to try to put another one in at home”, Neil was quoted by BBC Sport.
“I’m going into Saturday’s game optimistic but with an air of trepidation as usual, because Norwich are a very good side and we’re going to have to be at it.
“He’s got a slight strain, which is not significant, but it’s going to be a little bit too soon for Fem.”
Azeez will hope to make a swift recovery and return to action for the Lions soon.
