John Mikel Obi has congratulated Chelsea for winning the 2020/21 UEFA Champions League, reports Completesports.com.
Thomas Tuchel’s side edged out Manchester City 1-0 at the Estadio Dragao on Saturday night to pick the title.
It was the Blues’ second Champions League title and the first since 2012.

Mikel was part of the team that conquered Europe for the first time in 2012.
The former midfielder took to the social media to celebrate the remarkable feat.
“Well done boys. We are the blues,” he wrote on Instagram page.

From watching chelsea play after Tuchel took over, you know definitely chelsea was out to win a major trophy. Take proper aggression out of your game, then better off play with huge placard having inscription ( WE ARE NOT SERIOUS ABOUT WINNING,FOLKS). Tuchel introduced that very aggressive approach to chelsea’s play, something Pep had always used effectively to bully opponents unto surrendering winning to Man city. Also Tuchel was able to define a playing style, that reduced to barest minimum the equidistance between his players, making them extremely compact, such that Man City players got confused losing possesion quite frequently in such an unusual manner. When a team starts to win almost every second ball, then be rest assured that, that team is 80% done with winning that game. A big congratulations to chelsea. They are sure gonna be even more difficult to beat next season.
