Chukwueze Gets Thumbs-Up From Ex-Liverpool Star Hutchison

Former Liverpool star Don Hutchison has taken to Twitter to express his admiration for Villarreal ace Samuel Chukwueze, after the youngster’s man-of-the-match performance in Nigeria’s 2-1 win against South Africa – an AFCON 2019 semifinal match, Completesports.com reports.

Chukwueze displayed an attacking masterclass for the Super Eagles in the quarterfinal match at the Cairo international Stadium and hit the winning goal in the 2-1 victory.

The 20-year-old became the 2019 AFCON finals’ youngest scorer. It was also his first senior international goal for Nigeria.

Former midfielder Hutchison tweeted in a Twitter conversation about Chukwueze: “What a player mate. English clubs won’t have the balls to go for him. I’ve told loads of scouts/coaches Etc about him! Going right to the top.”

The winger was linked with a switch to Liverpool earlier this year , and he certainly seems to have the blessing of former Red Hutchison.

Chukwueze is a terrific dribbler with blistering pace. His performance against South Africa was superb, and Liverpool could do worse than to make an offer for him this summer.

Jurgen Klopp arguably needs more cover for Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane in the wide areas, with Xherdan Shaqiri and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain preferring to play centrally.

Chukwueze could be a fine addition, and a potential cheaper alternative to Lille star Nicolas Pepe.

After the match against South Africa, Chukwueze told the media: “I feel so happy to be named as Man-of-the-match because it has not been easy for me and the team. I have been working so hard.”

Chukwueze, good luck to you as you begin your quest to stardom! May you last long on the pitch and grease to your elbows.

Read about this guy saying Chuzee, will be a good back up for Salah n few others. Man, Chuzee can’t be any back up. He is got everything to be a first teamer. Any team not ready to make him a first teamer should back off. This kinda players grow when they play regularly. Chuzee must learn from Nacho, Yahaya n few others. He is wazza dazzler with so much volume of energy to burn now n not sitting on d bench.

God bless you my brother, you took words straight outta my heart. Imagine this kind of statement…

Chukwueze is not one to provide cover for anybody. Any club that wouldnt guarantee him a starting shirt should steer clear. That is why I;ve always opined that he should remain at Villarreal at least for one more season…before these talent killers will sign him and convert him to a left back.

Imagine Musa (Iniesta) Yahaya of the 2003 U17 squad now plays right back at porto B. This was a player whose talent was only next to Iheanacho’s in that team.

Can you imagine that @ Drey? Chukweze back up. These agents are too selfish. They care less about the players future. They only thinking about d opportunity to make money. Every time I think about Yahaya, such precious diamond, very much one of d few pure u-17, a prodigiously talented player, I just feel like weeping for him.NFF must take a stand on this.Money will definitely come applenty at d right time but establishing your name n position must be a priority.

If this lad Chukwueze can get his feet together and continue to develop as a player, to me i don’t see any difference between him and Messi of Argentina when he just started. Good luck Chukwueze.
