Manchester City are reported to be weighing up a loan swoop for Schalke midfielder Sebastian Rudy before the transfer window closes.
City boss Pep Guardiola is keen to bring in cover for Fernandinho, who was sorely missed when he was out injured, and a loan move for Rudy has now been suggested.
Guardiola has ruled out any big-money deals happening in the January window and his top targets are unlikely to arrive, but a short-term deal for Rudy is a possibility.
The German international has struggled for action with Schalke this season, but Guardiola sees him as the kind of player who could slot in and do a job in the absence of Fernandinho.
City are fighting on four fronts this season and Guardiola would like more cover in that area of the pitch as they go in search of domestic and European honours.
The 28-year-old would no doubt jump at the chance of a move to City and it now just remains to be seen if the Bundesliga side would sanction the deal.Fastest Paying Betting Site in Nigeria: Grab your 140% First Time Deposit Bonus Now — www.Sportybet.Com Copyright © 2021 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
