Club Brugge forward David Okereke is happy to get his ‘lucky number’ ahead of the new Belgian Pro League season, reports Completesports.com.
Okereke spotted Jersey No 14 last season, but has now switched to 21 for the new campaign.
The 22-year-old bagged a brace in Club Brugge’s 6-0 win against KV Mechelen in a friendly game on Saturday.
“It is my lucky number, so I am happy that I can play with it now,” he told the
club’s official website.

Okereke is also looking forward to the start of the new season after winning the league title in his debut campaign with the club.
. “We are working hard during the preparation to be ready for the start of the competition,”he added.
“We will be rewarded for our hard work. ”
Okereke scored nine goals in 22 league appearances for Brugge last season.
