Athletic Bilbao veteran Oscar de Marcos has admitted that Saturday’s Copa Del Rey final against Sevilla may be his last game for the club.
Recall that Saturday’s final could be De Marcos last chance for silverware in his career.
In an interview with Marca, he said, “Little by little, taking it as best as possible. Winning the Cup would be something unique and dreamed of, but for that you have to play for it. These days I think about my former teammates, who have tried it on previous occasions and we didn’t achieve it.

“We are all just passing through and want a legacy. There were colleagues who lived through more complex situations so that we could experience these finals and if we won they would also be part of it.
“Right now we are on the verge of the final and I haven’t even thought about what it has to do with my future. After the final we will see.
“The first ones (Cup finals) you are more unconscious and in others you think it could be the last. I try to tell myself to enjoy it to the fullest in case it were the last.”
