West Ham defender Aaron Cresswell has revealed his delight Manuel Lanzini is back in the thick of the action after his knee problems. The highly-rated Argentina international suffered an ACL injury while training with the national side and was forced to miss out on the World Cup in Russia last summer.
Lanzini got his first taste of Premier League action on Friday night as the Hammers secured a 3-1 victory over Fulham at the London Stadium.

Cresswell was delighted to see Lanzini come on for Felipe Anderson and now hopes the Argentine will go from strength to strength going forward. “He’s been out for a long time and it’s like a new signing coming in,” he said. “Everyone knows his quality and it’s great to see him back; he had a couple of chances to score but it wasn’t to be. I’m sure he’ll only get better between now and the end of the season.”
