Peter Crouch would love to see former club Liverpool win the Premier League – but he wants to beat them with Burnley first.
Crouch, who joined the Clarets from Stoke in the winter transfer window, spent three seasons at Anfield earlier in his career and won the FA Cup during his spell on Merseyside.
Liverpool are second in the table, a point behind Manchester City ahead of the visit of Burnley on Sunday.
Crouch, 38, wants to see his old club take the Premier League crown but is targeting all three points this weekend, and would have no problem scoring against his former employers if a chance falls his way.

“It would be nice to get a goal,” said Crouch, as reported by the Lancashire Telegraph. “Obviously I’d like to see them win the league but I’d like us to go there and get the three points. “I’ve got a few scouse mates who won’t be too pleased if that happens [Burnley win] but we’ll be going all out to get three points.”
