Crystal Palace Beat Man United, Spurs To Sign Ebiowei

Crystal Palace have confirmed the signing of highly-rated starlet, Malcolm Ebiowei from Derby County, according to Daily Mail.

Ebiowei, 18, is widely regarded as one of English football’s leading young talents and has been the subject of major interest from England and abroad this summer.

Ebiowei had a breakthrough season under Wayne Rooney as he appeared 16 times for the first team. Despite the difficult circumstances at the club, the attacker shone brightly, netting once and assisting a further two.

His direct approach play and ability to beat a man was praised by all and sundry and it was a matter of time before the big boys came knocking considering the Rams’ relegation and financial woes.

It was widely reported that both United and Tottenham were tracking the versatile forward for some months now.

The Red Devils had even held talks with the player’s entourage recently in a bid to thrash out a deal.

  • Behold a player that our local coaches said was not good enough for our u17……. Behold a player our local coaches refused to take to the u17 world cup in 2019……. How can you be a good coach when you can not spot such a talent right under your nose?……how can you be a good coach when you allow sentiment cloud your judgement?…… our junior team coaches should be watched carefully if we don’t want to lose more Alabas to this greedy practice going on in our junior team camps.

Akp, we have seen that movie played over and over again.

An “abroad kid” is kicked out of our U17 camp for being “not good enough” and 3 years later, he’s signed by a club bigger than the clubs those he was dropped for are playing in.
