Nigeria forward Paul Onuachu ended his three -game goal drought by netting a brace for FC Midtjylland who defeated home side, FC Nordsjælland in their Danish Superliga clash on Monday, reports Completesports.com.
Onuachu has endured a barren spell in front of goal for FC Midtjylland with his last goal coming for the club in the Danish Cup 4-0 win against OB Odense early this month in which he scored twice.
Jonathan Amon put the home team ahead in the 19th minute but the visitors turned the game around in the second half with two goals from Onuachu.
Onuachu volleyed home the equaliser in the 50th minute, before scoring the winning goal from a header a minute after the hour mark
The 24-year-old old has now scored 16 goals in 28 league appearances for FC Midtjylland this season
The forward who scored on his full debut for the Super Eagles is expected to be named in Nigeria’s squad to the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
