Commenting on his display, the sport outfit wrote:”The Nigerian was brought on to add some energy to the middle of the park, and he certainly did so, but he also decided to join the party by scoring Lazio’s third on the back of a glorious solo run.”
The result against Juventus underlined Lazio’s strong early-season form under head Coach Gennaro Gattuso, who described his side as a possible “surprise package” while stressing the need to keep the same approach and work hard.

Under Gattuso, the Biancocelesti remain unbeaten after seven games and sit on 19 points (trailing Inter only on goal difference).
It is their best start after seven matches in Serie A history, surpassing the 17 points of Sven-Göran Eriksson’s title-winning 1999-2000 side.
Juventus, managed by Luciano Spalletti, stay on 11 points in eighth place, eight points off the top, with just one win in their last five league games.
