Deschamps Urges Chelsea To Stop Complaining Over Kante’s Call-up To France Squad

Didier Deschamps and Chelsea camp have disagreed over the call-up of N’Golo Kante to France’s latest squad that will face Moldova and Albania in the upcoming international break, but Les Bleus’ coach is unperturbed .

Lampard and Chelsea fans have been fuming over France’s invitation of Kante who just recovered from a groin injury he sustained during the Deschamps’ men’s build up to their international match against Iceland last month.

Kante has resumed training with his Chelsea teammates after been restricted to six games for the Premier League side so far this season due to the injury.

“I haven’t spoken to him [Lampard],” Deschamps said
concerning Kante’s latest call-up.

“N’Golo [Kante] has taken time to recover, he was back in training last week, in their [Chelsea] squad for the Champions League. He is back to full fitness. If a player is available for his club, it is normal that they be part of this [France] squad.”
