Doherty and Emmanuel Edeh – a member of the management team of TeamNigeriaUK International, spoke about the programs they have outlined for the youths during a visit to Complete Sports’ offices in Lagos.

“The whole idea of SportEduPlus is to get everyone involved using the school system as a base, making young people think outside the box by knowing that they can actually achieve more if they combine education with sports,” Doherty said.

One is the Future Stars (FUSTAR) U-17 Invitational Football Tournament showcasing the best of football academies in Nigeria which will provide players/teams opportunities to get scouted by European clubs.

Good development I’ve always been craving for things like this I hope they set up annexes in parts of Nigeria as well because education and sports will help our sportsmen to another level in decision making unlike what we experience today.

This is really a good development. We have players and ex-players like Seyi Olofijana who combined education and sports to good effects.

    More blessings.

  • Good development!
