Omg who’s advising Yusuf? At his age he should be moving forward and not backwards, Awaziem moving to Cincinnati is good for his advance age and fact that Cincinnati is a top of the table club in the MLS unlike Revolution who are not consistent.
You are right @Chima.
Alhassan Yusuf’s move to the MLS seems primarily motivated by financial considerations. Despite his talent and strong performances for Royal Antwerp, especially in the UEFA Champions League, it appears he didn’t attract offers from leagues like Turkey, Germany, or the Netherlands. One might have expected clubs from these regions to show interest, given his impressive qualities. However, the reality is that the Belgian league, known for its modest player salaries, couldn’t provide the financial incentives that the MLS could.
We wish him the best in his new journey in the MLS, where he’ll be joined by Chidozie Awaziem.
Alhassan Yusuf has joined Major League Soccer team, New England Revolution. This is shocking news for me. But I hope he finds his final destination.
