Turkish club Bursaspor have completed the signing of Nigerian forward Kelechi Iheanacho on a three-year contract, reports Completesports.com.
The Green Crocodiles confirmed the arrival of the experienced striker in a social media post on Friday, unveiling him with a short welcome video.
“Welcome to our family, Kelechi Iheanacho 💚🤍,” the club wrote on X.
Iheanacho joins Bursaspor after failing to reach an agreement with Scottish champions Celtic over a new contract.

The 29-year-old enjoyed a productive spell with the Hoops, helping the Glasgow club secure a domestic double during the 2025/26 campaign.
The Nigeria international delivered several important goals, finding the net against Dundee, Hibernian and Motherwell in the closing weeks of the Scottish Premiership season. He also scored in Celtic’s Scottish Cup final triumph over Dunfermline.
Overall, the former Leicester City striker registered nine goals and one assist in 24 appearances across all competitions for Martin O’Neill’s side.
Bursaspor secured promotion to the Trendyol 1. Lig, Turkey’s second tier, after an impressive campaign last season and will be hoping Iheanacho’s experience and goalscoring ability can strengthen their push for a return to the top-flight.
Based in the northwestern city of Bursa, Bursaspor are one of Turkey’s most historic clubs. They famously won the Turkish Super Lig title in the 2009/10 season, breaking the dominance of the country’s traditional giants, and have also lifted the Turkish Cup once.
