Danish Superliga giants FC Midtjylland have re-signed Nigerian striker Friday Etim from FC Fredericia, Completesports.com reports.
Etim penned a contract with the Wolves that will keep him at the club until the summer of 2029.
The 24-year-old joined FC Midtjylland from Portuguese outfit CD Mafra in the summer of 2025 but spent only six months at the Danish club before being sold to FC Fredericia during the January transfer window.
Etim registered four goals, and one assist in 24 appearances for the modest side.
Return To Familiar Territory
FC Midtylland’s Sports Director, Kristian Bach Bak is excited with the forward’s return to the club.

” We sold Etim to Fredericia when we could see that there was too much playing time here, but we have never doubted the great potential he contains, and he has unfolded that over the past six months,” Sports Director Kristian Bach Bak told the club’s official website.
“He has been a regular starter and a big part of the great season that Fredericia has had – also with the number of goals and involvement in pressing games.It looks really exciting with the development he has undergone.”
Etim Excited With New Challenge
Etim expressed his delight at returning to FC Midtjylland and wearing the club’s black and red colours again.
“First of all, I really had a good time in Fredericia. I felt welcomed and I got a lot of playing time, which has been important for me and my development,” he stated.
“I am moving back to FC Midtjylland, and it is a decision I am really happy about. I am taking with me all the experience I have gathered in Fredericia, and I am ready to give it my all from day one.
” I am looking forward to becoming part of everyday life at FC Midtjylland again, and most of all I am looking forward to playing for titles and the Europa League. These are the scenes I want to be on, and I am ready to contribute to us achieving them.”
