This guy was a natural part of SE midfield along side Mikel. Since Mikel who was the leader left, Onazi’s Career has nose dived inexplicably. He was supposed to replicate what he had learnt partnering Mikel . I think Onazi’s disappearance is the missing transition in the SE midfield and That’s why we cannot pin point a single SE midfielder to call reliable. In this respect the Coach will need to set up a one month training Camp in the off season and invite all the midfielders Naija can afford and then assess different combinations until a perfect balance and blend is obtained . That’s how Kechi discovered Onazi,Mikel and Sunday Mba Combo the won us the AFCON. Its a paradigm worthy of emulation. All these eye service of calling up players 2 – 3 days to a match cannot solve the midfield or even defence and Goal keeping problems cos the SE team is in total disarray right now.

Some of these players don’t know when to call it quit, they keep scrapping the bottom of the pot for the burn rice. Move on Onazi, your train has left the station.
