Spanish Liga F side FC Badalona have completed the signing of former Falconets midfielder Chinyere Kalu.
The 20-year-old joins Badalona from fellow Spanish club Levante UD as she continues her career in the Spanish top flight.
Kalu is no stranger to Liga F, having previously featured for Real Betis before her move to Levante.
The Nigerian midfielder will now look to make her mark at Badalona following her latest move.
“I’ll start by saying all thanks to God because I wouldn’t have been here without Him. And before coming, I set a target for myself because I’ve played in Spain,”Kalu told the club’s official website.

“It has been a bit difficult. I tried to set a target for myself this season to be a better player and work hard to achieve my goals.
“When I got the information that I would be coming to Badalona, I was very excited. I just had this positive spirit in me, and I told myself I would go there and do well.
“I just have a positive mindset that everything will be good and that this season is going to be better.”
Kalu represented Nigeria’s Falconets at the 2022 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Costa Rica.
FC Badalona will kick off their 2026–27 Liga F campaign with an away clash against Athletic Bilbao on August 30.
