Super Falcons defender Glory Ogbonna has returned to Turkish club Beşiktaş for a second spell, Completesports.com reports.
Beşiktaş confirmed the signing of the Nigeria international on their official website.
“Beşiktaş have boosted their defensive line with the signing of their former player Glory Akumbu Ogbonna (born 25 December 1998 in Nigeria) for the upcoming season,” the club said in a statement.
Ogbonna spent the 2025/26 season with Israeli club Kiryat Gat after leaving Beşiktaş.
The 27-year-old now returns to the Turkish giants after one year away, bringing with her valuable experience of the club and the Turkish women’s football scene.

The centre-back began her professional career in Sweden with Umeå IK before moving to Spanish outfit Santa Teresa Club Deportivo.
She later had a spell with Turkish side ALG Spor before joining Beşiktaş in 2023.
Ogbonna has also enjoyed a successful career on the international stage.
She represented Nigeria at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in 2016 and 2018.
The defender was part of the Super Falcons squad that won the 2018 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
She was also included in Nigeria’s 23-player squad for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
