Nigerian midfielder Peace Efih has joined Greek Women’s A Division side Panathinaikos on a permanent transfer, Completesports.com reports.
Efih linked up with Panathinaikos from another Greek outfit OFI Crete.
The 25-year-old spent two seasons at OFI Crete, where she scored 14 goals in 40 appearances.

The talented midfielder expressed her excitement after sealing the move.

”I am very excited to have signed with Panathinaikos. I look forward to scoring many goals and helping the team achieve its main goal, which is winning the Championship. I can’t wait to get started,” Efih told the club’s official website.
Efih started her career with former Nigeria Women Football League, NWFL, champions Rivers Angels, and also played for Bayelsa Queens before moving abroad.
She has also played in Spain for Sporting de Huelva, and Zaragoza CFF, in Israel for Kiryat Gat, and Portugal’s Braga.
On the international stage, Efih has represented Nigeria at various age levels. She featured for the Flamingos at the 2016 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup before progressing to the Falconets, where she competed at the 2018 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
Her impressive development through the youth ranks eventually earned her a place in Nigeria’s senior women’s national team, the Super Falcons.
