Everton coach Sean Dyche has disclosed that his team had a really good performance against Nottingham Forest in Sunday’s Premier League game.
The Toffees played out a 2-2 draw against Nottingham Forest on Sunday March 5 at City Ground.
Demarai Gray scored the first goal for Everton from the penalty spot in the 10th minute and Brennan Johnson equalised for Nottingham nine minutes later.
Abdoulaye Doucoure put the Toffees 2-1 up in the 29th minute and Johnson restored parity once again in the 77th minute.
In an interview with BBC Radio 5 Live, Dyche appeared pleased with Everton’s performance.
“There was a lot of plusses about the performance,” Dyche said
“We know we have to win games, but you have to re-start and this showed a real step forward. This was a really good away performance, it’s a great building block to carry the journey with.”
Everton are 18th position in the Premier League table with a total of 22 points after 26 games.
They play Brentford next on Saturday March 11 at Goodison Park.
