Burnley manager Sean Dyche says he has little to report this summer in terms of new signings. The Clarets have so far made no senior additions after they finished 15th in the Premier League last season. Dyche has generally been frugal and patient with recruits since taking charge at Burnley in October 2012, and this summer looks no different.

The 48-year-old says it is business as usual at the club. “There’s nothing to report really, it’s really quiet,” he said. “It’s normally really tough and it’s been no different. “I’ve been meeting with the chairman regularly to see what we have to spend, but it’s about spinning plates and seeing what can affect us positively.”
Dyche has also noticed a lot more stories are being fabricated by the press and agents. “It must be an all-time high in terms of stories that are completely untrue this summer, it’s the most it’s ever ramped up,” he added. “There’s been a lot of things I know nothing about, there’s been nothing in 99% of the stuff I’ve seen.”
