  • Onuachu really played to his strengths in this game. Two GOALs both from headers, he is a tall GUY, was a real menace in the air, good positioning unlike what we see in the super eagles. He might outshine desser this season if care isnt taken. But I think its a healthy competition between them.
Just watched the video clip btw nantes vs st Etienne and its like Simon moses is their most influential player in the club Wow!or at least he was in that game. He looks stronger, faster and more purposeful on the pitch.
Also, watched highlights from cska moscows second game and Ejuke was just tearing the left wing up with his runs, skills and all action play. Im thinking some of these right footed left wingers will have to play on the right wing in the super eagles because they are just too many of them and they are mostly all good.
All the best guys, wish you all the very best this season.

  • I’m glad Etebo is back playing football once again. More options in the midfield of the super eagles.

Numbers, goals, assists, that is what we are talking about. No more excuses for underperforming players. The job of a forward is to score goals, provide assist and contribute to winning efforts. Welldone Onuachu. If you score or provide assists, we will praise you. That is how we roll. Shallow minded fans can spend all their lives making lame excuses for underperforming players, that is their cocktail of drugs. They should stay high in whatever they are smoking. We are not in the business of blind loyalty that borders on criminal insanity. Raman Azeez, Iheanacho, Lookman and others, we love you but please do what you have to do to play meaningful minutes in club football or else your Super Eagles status will be in jeopardy.

Hmmmmm…. Onuachu don come again with him headache o. Rohr, u really have a handful of selection issues this period bcs if this guy continues like this, he might deserve another invitation even though he’s not performed well in the green the number of times he was invited. I pray he replicates this form in the green if he ever happens to be called up again. And for Dessers being an usused sub, that’s very troubling.

  • again People on this Forum are failing to understand the Difference in Levels. Plain and Simply put. a player Who scores 5 in Spain, Italy, England, Germany even France should be considered over a player who scores 10 in Belgium even the Turkish and Austrian Leagues are Stronger than Belgian League. Thats the Point I am Trying to Make tomorrow if a player scores a Hat-Trick of goals in the Albanian League people on this Form will say Rohr should bench Osimhen for that Player abegi make una go siddon. Onuachu is to sluggish let him attract interest from England or Spain then he can be recalled. Simy Tochukwu Nwankwo from Crotone is proving to be more lethal in a tougher league so he is back up to Osimhen in the national squad Period!!!!!!!!!!!!

@Dr Drey and @Oakfield ARE YOU HEARING ME!!!!!!!!

Mr man. Stop drinking so early in the week. If you have been awake, you should know that I have been the no 1 supporter of our players playing in the top 5 leagues on this forum. It is your brothers @omo9ja and ade you should direct your tirades at. They are the ones beefing the coach and clamoring for call ups for people from Armenian, Latvian and Hungarian leagues when we have tens of options of players from the top leagues in Europe. Mind you, if you have been reading with your eyes opened you would have seen that I rate Simy over and above Onuachu. Onuachu did not even make my hypothetical 30 man list in the preview which I wrote last week. Infact I will pick Sadiq Umar and Simy ahead of Onuachu if I need a bean pole target man of a striker.
      I’m sorry bro…..wrong address…!

  • Let Me pose a Question to you folks. Who would fair Better if Nigeria has to for instance meet Senegal or Holland? and They come up against the likes of Kaildou Koulibali or Virjil Van Dyk respectively. Osimhen or Onuachu??? that’s the point I am trying to make.

If Belgium was such a tough league why are their clubs never making it past Group stages in Champions league? and for how Long now??. the best team in Belgium will not be able to keep up with a mid table team in England or Spain and Onuachu is playing in a Mid table team in Belgium.

You people should look at sports from a more realistic point of view and not in your fantasy minds

It beats me how completesports doesn’t get to mention Nigeria’s Junior Udeme Pius who plays as a central defender for Royal Antwerp FC.
Even as a defender, this guy scored a brace last weekend to help his team come from two goals down to secure a draw against Eupen. Prior to this this time he has featured consistently for Royal Antwerp, even playing 90 mins in the Belgian cup final defeating Club Brugge with David Okereke and Emmanuel Dennis (who was however on the bench that day). Completesports report of that match only spoke about Okereke and Dennis who were on the losing team with no mention of Pius who won the cup final.
Now we’re seeing the same pattern, a defender scoring two goals to help his team secure a draw in Belgian first division (Jupiler League) but receiving no mention alongside others in this report.
I believe all Nigerian players in top leagues need to be covered fairly whether they are yet Super Eagles players or not.
