Eagles Roundup: Osimhen, Maja On Target In France; Aina Benched In Torino’s Away Win At Genoa

Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen netted the winning goal as Lille beat Dijon 1-0 in their French Ligue 1 clash on Saturday night, reports Completesports.com.

Osimhen scored from the spot late in the first half to hand Lille all three points in the encounter.

The 20-year-old has now scored eight goals and bagged two assists in 14 league appearances for Les Dogues this season.

Also in France, Josh Maja was on target in Girondis Bordeaux’s 1-1 away draw against Reims.

The goal was Maja’s second in 13 league appearances for the former league champions.

Maja’s international teammate, Samuel Kalu was also in action from the start in the game.

Kalu was replaced by Youssouf Sabaly in the 62nd minute.

In Italy, Ola Aina was benched for the entire 90 minutes in Torino’s 1-0 win at Genoa.

Gleison Breimer bagged the decisive goal for Torino 13 minutes from time.

Aina, who also sat out Torino’s previous league game against Inter Milan has featured in 11 Serie A games for his club this season.

He scored in the 12th minute with goalkeeper Serkan Kırıntılı unable to prevent the 24-year-old from ending an 833-minute wait for a goal.

THIS IS NO CSN ALONE BUT THE ENTIRE PLAGUE IN THE NATION !!!

Is Ebuehi, Ajayi, Simmy, Dessers, Fanendo Adi, Etc not Nigerian soccer players ….????

We will never move forward !!
Na we dey do ourselves and we go continue to go backward !!!

God has already blessed us…we have a curse on ourselves and we need help from inside ourselves !!!

The Mr too know who knows better than all of us instead of commenting continues disliking. Hmm Dr I hail o Mr know all

  • I just watch dessers last game 2 goals and 1 assist in the netherland league. I think both ejuke and dessers should be invited in this right time as u can see apart from osihmen maja and dessers our other top attacker needs time to grow bcos france and netherland league is ahead of the other strikers leagues. Rohr shine your eyes. Replace unuochu and buonaventure with ejuke and dessers it will profit u better.
