Super Eagles duo of Gift Orban and Jordan Torunarigha were in action as Macabbi Tel Aviv defeated Gent 3-1 in Thursday’s European Conference League game.
Orban was making his fourth appearance in the competition and has scored five goals.
He was well checkmated by Maccabi Tel Aviv defenders as he could only create few goal scoring chances.

However, the host took an early lead in the ninth minute through Kanichowsky before Zahavi extended their lead in the 26th minute to make it 2-0.
Gent reduced the scoreline in the 49th minute through De Sart before Zahavi restored Maccabi Tel Aviv’s two-goal lead in the 61st minute.
Meanwhile, Torunarigha, who came on as a substitute for Ismael Kandouss was issued a yellow card in the 78th minute.
Despite the defeat, Gent still qualify to the knockout stages of the competition as the team sit second on 13 points in Group B.
