Retain Chelle As Eagles Coach
In a chat with Brila FM, Ejiofor praised Chelle’s strategy to integrate younger players and Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) prospects into the squad for friendlies.
“I really think the NFF must keep Eric Chelle as Super Eagles head coach.
“He has made significant changes to our football, as the team now plays an attractive style.”
Chelle’s Impressive Record
Head Coach Eric Chelle’s unbeaten streak with the Nigeria Super Eagles in regulation time has reached 12 matches, including a 2-2 draw with Poland in June 2026.
Since taking charge, Chelle’s overall record stands at an impressive 16 wins, 9 draws, and just 1 loss across 26 games.
