Kacper Potulski believes Poland deserved more than a draw in Wednesday’s 2-2 international friendly against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
Jan Urban’s side came from behind twice to earn a share of the spoils in front of 58,000 fans at the PGE Narodowy Stadium in Warsaw.
Potulski scored Poland’s first goal late in the opening half as the hosts fought back after falling behind.
The Red and Whites created several clear-cut opportunities throughout the contest but were unable to make the most of them due to poor finishing.

Reflecting on the game, Potulski expressed disappointment with the result, insisting Poland were unfortunate not to come away with a victory.
“I think that throughout the entire match, we had more chances. They scored against us when everything was on the line. The first goal – it’s unclear whether it was offside. The second goal was a penalty kick, which we accidentally took. We created more chances,” Potulski was quoted by laczynaspilka.pl.
Happy To Score First Goal
Potulski’s goal against the Super Eagles was his first for the country.
“I’m very happy with my first goal for the national team. I managed to fulfill a dream, especially with my debut goal at the National Stadium,” he added.
