Ejuke Features As Ndah Helps Orlando Pirates Beat Sevilla 2-0 In Friendly Game

Chidera Ejuke was in action as Olisa Ndah helped Orlando Pirates defeat Sevilla 2-0 in friendly game on Monday.

Ndah, who was captain of Orlando Pirates, was replaced before the start of the second half.

Ejuke was also in the starting eleven before being replaced ahead of the second half.

Orlando Pirates’ goals were scored by Miguel Timm and Kabelo Dlamini.

Timm gave Orlando Pirates the lead in the 21st minute before Dlamini scored the second goal in the 81st minute.

Up next for Sevilla is another friendly game against Portuguese giants Sporting Lisbon on Tuesday, July 23.

On 17 June 2024, Ejuke signed for Sevilla following the expiration of his contract at CSKA Moscow.

He suspended his contract with CSKA Moscow for the 2022–23 season, having taken advantage of the FIFA ruling relating to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

  • If Ndah had not played an official game for Nigeria, I’m 100% convinced South Africa would have poached him.

Hoping the new coach drastically changes the personnel of the SE. People like Ejuke and Ndah should feature prominently.

And we need to scout new number 9’s. We can’t be depending on someone who was absent for 4 straight WCQs or always want be seen “where its happening” or as “belonging” – at Chivido, with Cubana, witv VDM, at Ssbinus or AY Live shows.

Ighalo was never like that. He was always serious, focused and committed. Can never be seen with all those hangers-on or at all these money-sucking shows.

  • Nff should try and convince Dominic solanke to play for Nigeria.
