The governing body for swimming, World Aquatics, has announced that Chinese swimmers will undergo anti-doping tests twice before participating in the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympics, scheduled to take place from July 26 to August 10.
The decision to administer two tests on the Chinese stemmed from the results during the Tokyo 2022 Olympic Games where 23 swimmers tested positive.

Ahead of the Paris 2024 Games, the World Aquatics, as reported by the BBC, has committed to test eight players between the start of 2024 and the beginning of the Games in Paris.
It added that the tests of the Chinese athletes would be conducted by agencies other than the China Anti-Doping Agency (Chinada).
