England midfielder,Declan Rice, believes that the Three Lions need to win the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The FIFA World Cup is set to take place between November 20 and December 18 this year.
The Three Lions of England have been impressive in recent years with the team emerging fourth place at the Russia 2018 World Cup and reaching the final of Euro 2020.
Rice believes the expectations of the public will be high for the England squad.
“Yes I think the expectation is that the expectation and demand is that we need to deliver,” thesun.co.uk quoted Rice as saying.
“We just need to win something because of the players we have- and the experience now.
“There is expectation that we are all together in one team and be winning something,too right.
“There have been massive signs of improvement since Gareth walked in.
“The World Cup semis,Nations League semis,Euro final, now this World Cup is coming up. We know what is required now in a tournament — but it will always come down to winning or failure.
“That’s what the public will put it down as,so we know it is up to us to win.”
England is in Group B alongside Iran, the United States of America and Wales.
