Not only did the centre-back help the Toffees’ return to games with conceding, he was also featured on the other scoring one of Everton’s goals against Burnley.

Everton and Chelsea led the way with 3 players, Brighton doubled in with 2 players and Wolves, Newcastle and Tottenham completed this dream side, for a total of 6 different clubs earning a spot in GW16’s Dream Team.
The two forwards up top are Tammy Abraham (10 points), with a brace for Chelsea, and Neal Maupay (9 points), scorer of one and creator of another for Brighton.
Right behind, there is Alex Iwobi (8 points), who opened the scoresheet for Everton at home, Adama Traoré (8 points) assisted two of Wolves’s goals in their away win and Aaron Mooy (7 points), who netted one for Brighton in a heartfelt loss for the Seagulls.
At the back, we have our MVP Mason Holgate (12 points), joined by team-mate Lucas Digne (9 points), who had an assist in Everton’s home win, also Marcos Alonso (9 points), who did the same in Chelsea’s away win, Jamaal Lascelles (8 points), opener of the scoresheet for Newcastle’s away draw, and Jan Vertonghen (8 points), who scored in Tottenham’s win. Kepa Arrizabalaga (6 points) commanded the box for Chelsea, keeping a clean sheet this round.
