“We told Mourinho that if he wants Victor, will Harry Kane be leaving?,”Oismhen’s agent Ariyo Igbayilola told The Cable.

“If Harry Kane still play for Tottenham will Victor play? Because he will always be benched for him. Kane is their number one striker and he is the captain of England, all these will always work for him in the club but at Victor’s detriment.

“He needs a club where he will always play full game week in, week out. Not to be kept on the bench.”

Intelligent n unselfish agent. Not n definitely not going to any football club to sit on the bench to understudy any player. This must be a vital clause in whatever contract he signs for any club. If an Mbappe wont do that, then definitely not Osimene.

    • Thank God he is not making the mistakes our former players made. It Should be a clause in his contract that he will be playing week-in week-out barring any injury in any club he decides to play for. a

No way…!Harry Kane cannot sit on the bench not in Tottenham not in any team in England.
It’s brilliant for Victor to been able to count on his agents wise counsel.
Obviously,i want the best for every Nigerian footballer, more importantly making a smart move and avoiding as much as possible, career destroying decisions especially to a promising career, that’s why young and talented footballers of today needs guidance in a way of advice, that can enable them to avoid some of the poor decisions that could ruin their career.
Definitely,i want Osimhen and his compatriots in the super eagles to move a step higher in their careers,we are on the rise and our players needs to consolidate it’s position, aspiring to higher levels or seek ambitiously as well but doing it the right way.
Most of the top teams in the best five leagues of Europe have good top nine so if Osimhen has a tall ambition and want to take up the challenge,he has to take a challenge that is devoid of politics and nepotism which may count against him.
To square up to a player who is revered in his country and in their league is a tall order, really hard to accomplish. So preferably,he should look for a team where he’s coming up against a foreign striker like himself or a home player who hasn’t got the huge status of Harry Kane for example Chelsea,Liverpool,Manchester united,Real Madrid,Barcelona are but a few clubs where he could challenge fairly.

    • Suarez, firmino, benzema and rashford when fit won’t be bench , it leave us with Chelsea as a favourite big club for osim or better still arsenal.

If Aubameyang leaves…..Arsenal is best fit. If Mbappe leaves, PSG is better fit…otherwise Lille (Playing Europe next season) is just as good.

Athletico Madrid does not have a reliable Top 9, good enough to bench Victor!!!
Not Costa, and certainly not Morata.
Costa will leave at the end of the season and Osimhen will conveniently bench Alvaro Morata!.
Joao Felix is not a Top 9, he is an attacking Midfielder.
I personally prefer Athletico for Osimhen, because the club has a rich history of moulding deverstating strikers, from Torres to Forlan, Falcao, Aguero, Diego Cost(in his prime)……etc
Osimhen can join that list……specially now that there is vacancy upfront at Athletico Madrid

@ Femi The aforementioned players listed on your post are top quality players but aren’t indispensable. The difference between this players and Kane is his status as the captain of England and to captain a side like England you must be at the top of your game.Besides no coach would bench the captain of England not when he is playing well.
Suarez has been crocked for a while, his struggles for fitness coupled with age could count against him. What Osimhen needs to do is to take his chances when they come mind you Suarez hasn’t got in Spain similar privileges Kane has in the UK.
Benzema has been a hero for Madrid winning three champions league,la liga and other laurels in a successful career with Real Madrid, but lately he has underperformed by his standards the reason they bought Jovic last year from the bundesliga who has underperformed as well.So unlike Jovic if Osimhen takes his chances he could wrestle with the lots to command a regular place.
Firminho is a Brazilian international,a great signing for Liverpool but not indispensable like Kane is though at the top of his game but Osimhen would get his chances so it’s up to him to prove why he is deserving of starting ahead of their big star Roberto Firminho.
Rashford is a English international,a good player who can play anywhere in the front three but fairs better playing from the left.Apparently not an out and out striker so a big opportunity for Osimhen who is a traditional number nine.
