Super Eagles striker, Taiwo Awoniyi came on as a substitute in Nottingham Forest 1-0 loss to Brighton in Sunday’s Premier League.
The Nigerian international was making 17 appearance, has netted six goals and bagged three assists in the ongoing league.

Awoniyi came on as a substitute for Ryan Yates in the 72nd minute and could only make few impacts.
Brighton however, netted the opening goal in the 29th minutes thanks to an own goal from Andrew Omobamidele.
Awoniyi’s Nigerian compatriot, Ola Aina was missing in action.
The defeat means Nottingham Forest sit 17th on 24 points while Brighton sit 8 on 42 points on the league table.
