EPL: Iwobi Absent As Everton Hold Palace; Success Features In Watford Home Loss To Brighton

Alex Iwobi was missing in action as 10-man Everton battled to a 0-0 draw against their hosts Crystal Palace at the Selhurst Park on Saturday, reports Completesports.com.

Iwobi linked up with the Toffees from Arsenal on Thursday and was deemed not ready enough by Everton manager Marco Silva to feature in the game.

Everton were reduced to 10-men 14 minutes from time when French midfielder, Morgan Schneiderlin was sent off for a second bookable offence.

At the Vicarage Road, Isaac Success played for 15 minutes in Watford’s 3-0 home loss to Brighton & Hove Albion. He replaced Andre Gray in the game.

Brighton’s Nigeria defender, Leon Balogun was not listed for action in the game.

Abdoulaye Dacoure (own goal), Florin Andone and Neal Maupay got the goals for the visitors.
