Super Eagles midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi made a return to Leicester City’s starting eleven after recovering from injury to help the Foxes earned a hard fought 1-1 draw against Leeds United in Sunday’s Premier League game at Elland Road.

The Nigerian international, who has been out of action for 40 days, last featured for the Foxes in the 2-2 draw against Burnley at King Power Stadium on September 25 where he picked up a hamstring injury.

Ndidi made his presence known in the game as he made some crucial tackles to prevent any attacking move from Leeds United.

It was his third appearance for Leicester City in the Premier League this ongoing season.

His Nigerian compatriot, Kelechi Iheanacho was on the bench for the entire 90 minutes.

Iheanacho has made three appearance, three assists and no goal yet to his name.

The host took a first-half lead through Raphinha’s free-kick, before Harvey Barnes immediately equalised with a stunning solo strike for the Foxes.

The draw move the Foxes to 12th on the table on 15 points while Leeds United sit 15th on 11 points.

In the other game, Nigerian striker, Emmanuel Dennis could not save Watford from losing 1-0 to Arsenal at the Emirate Stadium.

Dennis, who was making his 10th appearance for Watford had a decent performance and was substituted in the 74th minutes by Hernandez. He has netted three goals in the EPL this season.

Goal from Emile Smith-Rowe in the 53rd minutes was enough to give the Gunners the maximum points.

However, William Troost-Ekong was also on the bench for the entire 90 minute.

Ekong, who has always been in the starting line up for Watford, has made 10 Premier League appearance this season.

Meanwhile, Super Eagles midfielder, Alex Iwobi sat on the bench for the entire duration of the match as Everton played out a pulsating draw against Tottenham in Sunday’s Premier League game.

Iwobi has scored one goal and made 10 appearance for the Toffees in the Premier League this season.
