EPL: Onyeka Subbed On As Brentford Edge Burnley

Super Eagles midfielder, Frank Onyeka played a cameo role as Brentford defeated Burnley 2-0 in Saturday’s Premier League game.



The Nigerian international was making his 19 appearance for the home team as he managed just few touches before the final whistle.



Onyeka came on as substitute for Bryan Mbeumo in the 90th minute.



Ivan Toney netted the only goal of the game in the 85th minute with a beautiful finish to send the home fans into frenzy.

Toney extended Brentford lead in the 94th minute when he grabbed his brace via a penalty to seal maximum points for the home team.

The win means Brentford move 15th on the league table on 30 points while Burnley sit 18th on 21 points.



Brentford next face Leicester City on March 20 at the King Power Stadium.
