Stoke City midfielder Peter Etebo has expressed displeasure with his lack of game time under Micheal O’Neil, reports Completesports.com.
The Nigeria international was one of the few Potters players to emerge with any credit during a challenging first few months of the season under Nathan Jones but he has been frozen out under the new boss.
O’Neill couldn’t call on the 24-year-old for his first two games in charge, which Stoke won, but he has been available since and even though he made the bench for the defeat at Cardiff.
The new manager had previously stated that he was pleased how the current midfield is working and that ‘Peter hasn’t really been at the levels since he came back from injury’.
Etebo took to the social media sending a message that indicates his frustration at his lack of game time under O’Neill.
“I don’t like to Gamble, But if there’s one thing I’m willing to Bet on, it’s myself ✊,”Etebo tweeted.
The former CD Fierense of Portugal player has made 11 league appearances for Stoke City this season.
