    “…17 goals in 31 league appearances…”
I think its time to bring back Simy to the national team. Even if he’s got just a few more years left in him, i think its fair to Nigerians than we should be allowed to savor the presence of this Gangling young man in our attack for those few more years.

Real continuous headache for Rohr. If we were to play 11 center forward in a match we still cannot play all the SE players doing well this season. Let me give my own ranking and a clue of the many names Rohr has to track.

Osimhen, Desers, Kelechi, Sadique, Simmy, Dennis, Nwakeme, Onuachu, Maja, Olayinka, Okereke, Odey, Awoniyi, Junior Ajayi, kayode

and this does not even include Ighalo if he decides to come back. 16 names I see.

And NNF is still telling the coach to also pick from the local league. How many he wan call.

Let the best man be chosen. My humble opinion.

I decided to do a little research and look at the stats of SE top 11 strikers in their club. I know the league has not ended in most countries and so the numbers could still change, and i also that the each league is different in ranking. But just wanted to compare the goal contribution rato of our top 11 SE center forwards or potential player for the current season and result is quite interesting.
That is the rato of goals and assist to appearance in all competition.

    1. Sadiqu 17g 17A in 39a 87%

Keep scoring and let coach Rohr know that he’s fault that you were unable to score more goals for Nigeria when its comes to the national duty.

You and Onuachu will surely make me proud in the national team one day by God’s grace.

Not that we don’t have players but coach Rohr and his fans including NFF are the real issues we have to deal with at first.

If Simy comes to the Super Eagles today, they will put him on the bench. It is only Abraham they can relate with and there are few players that
deserves to play for Nigeria because others are not Nigerians.

Some times, the league that Nigerian players plays in doesn’t matter but the qualities of the players counts a lot. For example, we knew what Alanpasun was capable of but because of the physicality of Uzoho, Alanpasun, Osagwe and Okoye have no place at the national team for now because doesn’t believe in them, what is the point?

Instead, the coach and his fans preferred Akpeyi to the young ones. Adi that have everything that a world class striker should have, have no chance to play for his fatherland. Fatai Alashę is also there, hmmm. What else can I say? In the end, they carried Bronze to Nigeria and they were expecting us to be happy with them? Who does that? Chai. Nawa oo. God bless Nigeria!!!

    • Stats of Fatai Alashe since 2015..
Year Matches Goals Assists Yello C
      2015 – 28 – 2 – 1 – 5
      2016 – 28 – 3 – 1 – 8
      2017 – 17 – 0 – 0 – 6
      2018 – 17 – 2 – 0 – 1
      2019 – 11 – 4 – 0 – 2
      2020 – 0 – 0 – 0 – 0
@Mr Scouter…is this what you’ve been scouting for our national team for years? Mr Yellow Cards?

    • Bro, the scout doesn’t have eyes for lower leagues. Guess the egunje will not be that much as the ones from top leagues.

    • Chairmanfemi 4 years ago

@Omo9ja, I beg you in the name of God. Don’t you ever mention Paul Onuachu and the National team again on this forum! You can create a Small National team in your locality and put your area boys plus Onuachu but not the Super Eagles we know. Enemy of progress.

Simy is the talk of the town now. Talk about him. It also Interest one to know that Crotone are on their way back to the Serie A. So we have another Nigerian Striker in the Scudetto next season. Please if we need a quality Lanky striker, it’s Simy! This is just a challenge to Umar that he has to move to a better League to displace Simy. If Monaco comes or Lille, Grab it. God bless Nigeria

      • Bros you keep saying Umar should move, is it that easy. Is it not the team that wants him will go after him. He is getting first team football where he is now, will such opportunity come bagain. Let the right team come for his services. lat time he was at roma, how many games did he play

      • Omo9ja 4 years ago

It’s first come first serve and I will serve you as you come lolz.

Let me start from Sean. Mr. Spectator, can you please go on YouTube and watch the video clips of Alashę? That guy is a baller. Same thing with Adi.

Instead of arguing with me Sean, save yourself a huge amount of time to do the research first.

@Ade, you got the message quite well.

For you Mr. Chairmanfemi, you said,

“Don’t you ever mention Paul Onuachu and the National team again on this forum! You can create a Small National team in your locality and put your area boys plus Onuachu but not the Super Eagles we know. Enemy of progress”.

That was too harsh of you young man. At least if I’m your son, I think I deserve some respect from you sir.

Instead of you to ask Oga Rohr why our tall strikers have bn failing in the national team to score goals but you are angry with I omo9ja that saying the truth here?

Look young man, you know I’m falling in love with you at the moment because the level of your reasoning and your maturity its improving every day in this your 2020 but if you have decided to go back to your old style my dear fęmi, you are on your own o.

In one word if you don’t understand my message, Oga Rohr tactics are not suitable for our tall strikers.

Onuachu have failed under coach Rohr.
Simy have failed too and it is guaranteed that Sadiq can not do anything different when the gaffer call him up to join the team.

Fęmi my lovely friend, you can not expecting these three strikers to do anything because they need supplies in the middle and at the flanges.

At the world cup and Afcon, tell me how many long ball our wingers were able to make for our strikers?

My beloved Fęmi, is it a crime to say the truth ba?

I noticed that many of you always angry with me when I’m telling you guys the truth but why?

Kai, I have no choice, I have to say the truth no matter what because i love my country and Oga fans can not be ahead of our country. It is not done that way.

Long story short, let’s call a spade a spade. Take care of yourself Fęmi. Ire o. God bless Nigeria!!!

        • @Omo9ja..the truth Sayer..no need to send YouTube videos of Fatai Alashe to me. Since you love players of that that caliber, I’ll recommend YouTube videos of Akwuegbu and Joseph Akpala for you to go and watch…hope u will enjoy them.

    • Ndubuisi 4 years ago

No wonder they say you are confused Mr omo9ja. When will you stop this unnessary criticism and reason well. How many players will make a team? Are you expecting all Nigeria born players to be invited to super eagles? Kareem benzema is doing wonderfully well in Madrid but how come he’s not in France national team. Should they sack the current coach for not inviting him even though they are world champions without him, maybe if France didn’t win the last world cup the coach would have been sacked for not selecting arguably one of his best players. I wonder what you enjoy with controversies. The eagles are gradually been molded to a team that will be difficult to beat by any team in the world. Why not relax and watch as things unfold than looking out for a Nigerian that will score anywhere in the world the next thing Mr Rohr should invite him or accused for over looking the player. Too much of everything is not good. Your post has lost value completely.

  • Leave this @omo9ja guy,he always says things that is off point.onuachu who couldn’t lead our attack at the afcon is now a top guy.so it’s now Rohr fault that he didn’t do well.oga u are confused.

  • Omo9ja 4 years ago

@Oga Tony, thank you o. You said I’m confused but Mr. Rohr that left Onyekuru on the bench at the Afcon, Simy and Iwobi were sitting on the bench at the world cup in Russia and he kept his belief in Ighalo in both Afcon and world cup and the gaffer wasn’t confused but me that telling him and his fans the koko now is the one that really confused? Chai, akoba gafara o lol.

If you want to know more about Nigerian football, Ann have spoken and I will advise you to go and read her interview.

So that you can understand Nigerian football history and culture. It is not about Oga Rohr, it is all about our be loved Super Eagles. I hope you understand me ba? Ire o. God bless Nigeria!!!

    • NA ME TALK AM 4 years ago

@Omo9ja ….. You complain too much about Coach Rohr and If you know football as much as you claim , there is something called PLAYER ROTATION and every player cannot play at the same time .

Iwobi and Simi playing does not imply Nigeria would win the World Cup OR even Win Argentina .

Worldcup is not the same as AFCON , EUROS , COPA AMERICA , ASIAN CUP or any continental tournaments . It is a total different tournaments entirely and that is why you have the BEST PLAYERS FROM DIFFERENT COUNTRIES WITHOUT A WORLDCUP MEDAL .

Last time i check even with Barcelona MSN ( Messi Suarez and Neymar ) , barcelona lost several matches

So please stop all the names and blaming the COACH because even with those names you claim are talented , we can’t win the worldcup

Youtube Videos are edited videos and doesn’t show flaws . The only REASON why MESSI and RONALDO are respected worldwide is because of their STATS and not YOUTUBE VIDEOS . So please don’t say STATS is irrelevant to justify yourself for ADI and Alashe

Onyekuru did play in the last AFCON and he played like TRASH , so please stop the BS . He played in his Position at his club and yet he’s trash just like Onuachu in the LAST AFCON

I’m not saying both Onuachu and Onyekuru are bad players because every players have their OFF day and that include MESSI and RONALDO . Both Players are good player but they played Poorly in the last AFCON and you can’t blame the Coach for their poor effort at the last AFCON

You claim the Coach kept his faith with Ighalo , I’m sure you are aware Ighalo is the highest goal poacher in the last AFCON and Qualifiers

The same Ighalo you dey condemn is hyped in MANCHESTER UNITED .

No COACH is perfect and No human is perfect as we are all prone to mistakes and errors .

Imperfection is part of life and please stop hyping any Nigerian Players anywhere in the world because compare to other countries , they are AVERAGE Players with POTENTIALS

Now my Question to you is as follow :

      – Are you Perfect ?

      – Will Nigeria win the last Worldcup with Adi , Alashe , Alanpasun, Osagwe ?

      – Last Worldcup and Last AFcon are past event , Why are you still lamenting and dwelling in the Past ?

      – The Faith the Coach had in Ighalo , did he repay the Faith back to the coach and country ? YES OR NO

      – Is Joachim Löw still the Germany Coach despite his team woeful and poor showing at the Last WORLDCUP ?

Kindly answer the above question in all honesty and once you’re done with the response

Please ask yourself again , WHY ARE STILL DWELLING in the past

      GOD BLESS NIGERIA

      • My brother, his brain can’t comprehend all those insightful questions, so don’t expect any reasonable response from him. He is programmed on auto-reapeat, that’s why he keeps going back to the past tournament like world cup and Afcon.

      • Chairmanfemi 4 years ago

@NA ME TALK AM, God bless you for such a comprehensive write up. Those questions nailed it. But painfully, Omo9ja won’t come out and answer. As Ola stated above, he is programmed on Auto-repeat..lol

  • That guy called omo9ja is a disgrace to humanity. Don’t know what his problem with Rohr. Must you always talk about event that have become past tense. Every time a Nigeria player score he will accusing the coach of not inviting him. How many time is he going to invite at once? Don’t you reason at all. Try to read your comment and how senseless it is.

  • * how many players sorry

  • Dr. Drey 4 years ago

Hahahaha…. Good Job there @ Sean. 11 goals and 22 yellow cards in 5 seasons striker (average of 2 GOALS PER SEASON)….LMAO. That’s is the Fatai Alashe Omo9ja watches on Youtube and comes here to make noise about Rohr not inviting. When we have strikers with 17 goals plus in maintstream Europe whom we are still looking for spaces for in the national team.

Omo9ja, pls tell your fatai alashe to quit football and venture into traditional wrestling, because its obvious with the amount of cards he has acquired, he has done more mortal kombat on the pitch than scoring of goals LMAO. Go back and look at the stats put up there by Ikeben and Sean…..your boys (Alashe and Adi) wouldnt even make the top 20.

If youtube vidoes were to be the basis for invitation of players to the National team then Onitsha main market will not be large enough to absorb all the players that deserve an invitation.

We should do away with the mentality that the national team is a place to “try your luck” or rehabilitate players. THE BEST PERFORMING PLAYERS AT EVERY GIVEN TIME SHOULD BE THE ONES CALLED UP TO THE NATIONAL TEAM.

  • Chairmanfemi 4 years ago

@Omo9ja, Please what made you conclude Simy FAILED under Rohr?? like Onuachu.

Was Simy given as much chance as Onuachu?? Or you meant those 2 minutes to go showing were the chances he got to made you conclude he failed??

Simy can control the ball at least and he is always a threat to Defence with his imposing height compared to your Onuachu that can’t even trap ball talkless of Control!

All am saying is, Simy is good. Very good but he wasn’t trusted enough by the Gaffer hence his limited overall game time in the Super Eagles till he was dropped just like that. Therefore, Simy should be recalled as the Lanky forward! And not just invited, give him game time like you(GR) gave to your boy Onuachu.
@Ade, I have no biz with you..you know. You’re always off-point bumping into where you are not called. God help you my brother

    • Very funny. Guess you forgot am free to comment on any topic here. You are free not to respond to me i don’t care. But i will still get my point across and ask questions when fit. So please stop wasting your data if you don’t have anything sensible to write here

  • U see y I said @omo9ja is confused, wetin concern dis discussion with Nigeria football history.
