Evans, who has enjoyed his best week since returning from a one-year ban for cocaine use last April, will make just his second ATP Tour final appearance on Sunday.

He goes up against Moldovan qualifier Albot for the Delray Beach Open title and is guaranteed to return to the world’s top 120.

World number 82 Albot, beat Nick Kyrgios in the round of 16, and came from a set down to defeat American Mackenzie McDonald in the semi-finals.

Albot makes his maiden appearance in an ATP Tour final and insists he will look to enjoy the occasion. “I need to relax a little bit to enjoy the moment and I’ll think about it a little bit later,” Albot said.
